Default RE: Monokote on Ultracote???

You can use either Ultracoat or Monokote for adding trim on top of your existing Ultracoat. One plus for the monokote is that you can use windex to apply the monokote over the ultracoat which improves the resulting finish, this method allows you to apply the monokote with no trapped air bubbles underneath. You can't use windex to apply ultracoat and it must be applied with heat. The reason for this is because the ammonia in the windex actually activates the adhesive of the monokote, but ultracoat uses a different type of adhesive and won't work. You can find a good article on how to apply graphics with monokote here: [link=http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_603331/anchors_603331/mpage_1/key_flag/anchor/tm.htm#603331]Applying monokote graphics with windex.[/link]

Hope this helps
