RE: t.e. thikness
OMG that is the thickest rudder I've ever seen!
BUT that's is a fishtail Rudder which is different to a flat te rudder. It kicks out at the T.E. and I assume stops fishtailing. I was messing with on some aircraft I had that had fishtailing problems.
Apparently the fibreclassics E 330L had a big problem with fishtailing, and could be fixed with a strip of fuel tubing glued to the TE of the rudder.
How about that!
