RE: looking for a basher
Avoid the Evader unless your really, and I mean REALLY good at tuning rear diff gears! The 2.5 Rustler is only good for one thing, going fast in a open area, due to its wicked accleration and major lack of handling. The JATO 2.5 is the best Basher I own, next to my Ofna LX Comp 4x4 buggy. Traxxas makes the easiest to tune and most reliable basher for the beginner. My Evader has been nothing but a nightmare since its 2nd tank of break in fuel. Ive finally went and bulletproffed the drivetrain with aluminum gears from the clutchbell to the CVD's. Now after $70+ in upgrades its turned out to be a decent machine.
Go with the JATO 2.5 Its a killer setup from the power, handling and durability of the Big names with the lil guy price tag.
