Todd,

On my 1st Venus II (crashed due to a mid-air) I used an O.S. 120 Surpass III pumped 4-stroke on a Gator soft mount. With the rudder servo in the tail and a single elevator servo above the wing using twin pushrods, the plane balanced nose heavy, I added about 2.5 oz. to the tail.
On my 2nd Venus II, I used the same engine and mount, but mounted the rudder and 2 elevator servos in the tail. It balances on the recommended C.G. with no additional weight in the tail.
Your YS and Hyde mount should be close to the same weight as my setup so you should come out with similar results.
