Trimming the edges will work, didn't
think of that. For as wiring for nicads
was no problem. I used a different
on and off switch I got at Radio Shack.
Required some soldiering, I also
discarded the return to shore motor,
gears and switch. I've never had to
use the return to shore, I have a
whaler fishing boat and my kids
run the vees out in the middle of a
big lake and chase them with the
fishing boat. My boys don't like
to have to run around in circles
that like to race each other on
long straight aways. I'm not sure
how far they will run on a full tank
a fuel but at 30 something miles
per hour and 20 something mintues
run time we can go a loong way.
