Default RE: Seagull Models EP Extra 300

ORIGINAL: picard1

I tried balancing my seagull extra tonight and it came in tailheavy. The manual says CG is 5-6cm or 2 - 2 3/8" from the leading edge. Is this where you guys are balancing yours at. At 2 1/8" back the nose required 5oz of weight..

Eflite 480
Eflite 40 amp esc

rec electron 6

the manual states cg to be referanced from wing tips/not wing root. this has created quite a bit of confusion for some.. theres about an inch differeance just by eye between wing root cg and wing tip cg/try cg back about an inch. id provide the exact cg marks at root but my calipers battery is dead. sorry about low qaulity pic.
