RE: Rant+ Bomber field
Members from the Tejas RC club (I think they were helping out in this event) seemed to be the first ones that noticed the radio interference problem with their frequency monitors. Can someone from Tejas RC club (or whoever also knows the facts) tells us who are those people that turned on the transmitters without authorization?
I was waiting to fly when the un-authorized TX problem was brought to attention on Saturday. I decided temporarily not to fly until the problem was resolved. I did fly Saturday afternoon.
I spent 8 hours there on Saturday. Yes it was hot (please don't blame Bomber Field for the weather), and yes there were some areas that may be able to use some improvements if more resources were available. But the bottom line is: I had a good time. Thank you Bomber Field.
