Talked to a couple of guys at my club and they suggested screwing the mounting screwed into the blind nuts then pulling the blind nuts into the back of the firewall using the standoffs, essentially making the mounting screwed studs sticking out of the firewall that I could then mount the standoffs and engine.

I like this idea because it is an ARF and there isn't a lot of room to manuver a hex wrench on the back side of the firewall.
