Plug all the servo's into ch 1 through 4 and move the sticks to see if all are working or not. If not, there is a problem with either the TX or RX. Take it back and get another one. If it does work, are you wanting to use the rudder with the aileron stick since this is a 3 channel plane? If so, then plug the rudder servo into the aileron servo (ch 1). When flying 3 channel you want to hook the rudder up to the aileron control so you can use the right stick for pitch and roll control.

Later when you move to a plane with ailerons, you hook the ailerons to ch 1 and rudder to ch 4. But for the Easy Star use the aileron ch 1 for your rudder.
