Default RE: Seagull Models EP Extra 300

Ive got about 7 flights on mine now. Its a spectacular plane. Really flys well, and fun. It will do 3D stuff.
Here's the set-up as I have it now

Ailerons
1" on low rates with 40% expo
1 1/4" on high rates with 40% expo

Elevator
1" on low rates with 20% expo
2" on high rates with 60% expo

Rudder
2" on low rates with 30% expo
2 1/2" on high rates with 45% expo

All measured at the farthest trailing point of the surface. For me this is pretty close to perfect for the plane. On low rates, it has precision performance for flying scale aerobatics, and on high rates its good for 3D. Here's my tastes in how I determine the specifics of the throws. For ailerons, in low rates I want a 360 degree roll in 1 second. In high rates, I want it to be just enough to slowly anti-torque roll in a hover. For elevator in low rates, I want smooth round loops, and pulls to vertical. I dont want it to swing the tail out if I pull to hard. In high rates, I want it to swing the tail out from under it, and I want lots of expo so Im not over controlling it. Rudder. I love rudder...and lots of it. In low rates, I want enough to do KE, and if I jam throttle to it, enough to climb in KE. In high rates.. I like enough for a KE loop, or if I slam it to the stops, I like the plane to swap ends.

One other thing...I found out this plane WILL do climbing flat spins. Fly straight level flight, now jam full rudder and opposite aileron and then full throttle. If you time it right and get just the right amount of aileron at the right time, It will go into sort of a climbing flatspin. FREAKIN AWESOME. You may need a touch of up elevator to start climbing. I got to get video of this. Its insane.
