ORIGINAL: G-ROOKIE

First get just the plane (Boomerang Intro.) and take your time getting every thing else.

1. Boomerang $734 shipped
2. Jr. servos 125 oz. $32.00 each
3. Dubro 50 oz. tank $14.00
4. Bvm UAT tank $60.00
5. Fuel tubing $12.00
6. Expert wiring $30.00
7. Sullivan fuel tank 16 oz $5.00
8. Bvm Heat paint $10.00
9. Robart 510/521 Tower hobby air up/spring down retract's $139.00 wire struts.
10. Get a use turbine with less hours(PST 600r, FTE 500 or P60) Some just pop up on Rcuniverse for around $1,300. You will have to shop around for deals but first get the plane and then you'r in the game.
11. One more thing, you don't have to get brakes for right now if you'r using grass field.
12. PCM RX $100.00
13. Keep your eye on www.nitrplanes.com Bobcat for $169.00 (new shipment) and you can convert it over to a turbine, some of the guy's and my self have them.
14. Go to the car section of you'r hobby store and get the antenna set up for $3.50 (look at photo's) so you want have to cut you'r antenna.
Dead wrong on point #11. AMA REQUIRES brake(s) on all turbine powered aircraft...grass strips or not. Time to bone up on the rules?
