And what is beyond those 30-90 acres, houses, trees or more open field?

Let see, 100 acres is about 0.15 miles or 792 feet wide measured in one direction. There are club fields that have 800ft runways specifically made this long for jet flyers. An A-10X is a small plane, grant it, but you's still want at least a 500 ft paved runway to feel comfortable landing instead of trying to make the perfect landing every time on a short one. Grass is a different story.

I have a Rookie II and I need every bit of the 600 ft runway for landing and roll-out without screwing up the wingtips during braking.
