
Brewerpaul, I have found that the Badius flys well with the C.G. 3/16 inch behind the 8 7/8 inch point behind the tip of the prop spinner recommended by the Badius owners club (see p 424 Post # 10580). Normal level flight and gliding with my Badius requires that the elevator trim to be about 5 degrees down deflection angle.
I cut some of the plastic off the tail section of the fuselage. The largest weight savings came from removing those heavy pushrods. These were replaced by pull/pull no-streach fishing line for not only a great weight savings but also potential crash damage to the servos.

P. S. Memories of measurements can be faulty. I will try to measure more and type less in the future. I will also check data more before trying to "help" (?) a fellow Badius owner.
