Default RE: The unofficial Home of all that is Nitro Vee...

I've been using a x442 on my vee2.5. It's killer. Have not tried the x637 yet. The vee has had approx 20 great runs with the new clutch. It's back to boating and flying the super cub at the pond. As for my planes, I just finished building an Alfa Mig15 EDF. She will hit 85mph. Now I'm going to build a Stinger pylon racer. The performance setup I'm getting will do 110mph in a dive. That's sick speed when the plane is so small. Just imagine your vee doing 110mph.

it just so happens i recieved an octura x637 in my mail today,I have no idea yet about what\where to start, whats the norm for this set-up,is this a good prop to start with?Resources are slim since I added 3 more boats to the "marina".How does this prop compare to the 40-42mm cf props?
Ive got a 637 on my vee with a trx2.5 in it. That prop runs circles around the x440 I had on there. Comes up on plane in a flash and acceleration is unbeliveable.
