im new myself... I just got a SS and I love it... the Slow Stick... is cheap but depending on what kind of setup you want to do it can get expensive quick... I went with Lipo setup on mine.. and from buying the slow stick and everything needed to get it together and up in the air ran me about 300.00 but I went with lipo...if you dont feel like putting together a bunch of parts.... and just want something you can get up in the air quick... I would go with a RTF kit... you wont have as much option with it as you would with a arf kit..... but if your like me and enjoy building things yourself the ARF kits are great.....
