I have a couple of different cars, my favorite is my Kyosho Super GP-10. Its similar to a HPI Super Nitro in size, but a major difference is in it's shaft drive versus the belt drive. I have put too much power through belt drives before, and have snapped the $10.00 belts like they were rubber bands, but then again, many .21 size cars use belts, but they are beefy belts. If you really want the thing to cook, swap the motor out, and if you got the room, use a box starter instead of an easy start or pull start, you will lose a small bit of weight and a little drag on the crankshaft.
