Uh 60? Uh thats nothing, maybe you have something stuck in your belts.
LOL

Damn thats fairly fast for a 4-tec, and you want to go faster?
Hmmm first I am curious to know how you are clocking your speed.
100ft and formula?
Any racing going on or just dragging in the parking lot?

Hey. my brother have one, but he can't to reach me with my TC3, U need to think about the EZ start, lol is convenient, but not useful if U want to arise the speed besides, it weights too much.
Just try changing the engine with a Novarrosi, RB or Picco, I really recommend U the Mugen Novarrosi MT-12, it have a 1.15 HP and 36,500 RPM's

I've seen them run, and although it will do 50 MPH, their acceleration is somewhat slow compared to a StreetForce. In a "headsup" race, the StreetForce will be faster and have much better acceleration. If you want your 4Tec to really move, install a NovaRossi engine. It will really scream then! Don't waste your time and money on the small mods, just get the NovaRossi. BTW, if or when you do, get some extra one-way bearings for the two-speed transmission. With the additional power of the NovaRossi, the bearings (weak link) will fail on a regular basis. The bearings cost around $20.00 each. High performance comes at a price.

THATS A GOOD WAY TO DO IT BUT I WENT TO A NITRO DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY CAN MAKE MY NITRO 4-TECH 100MPH ITS 7 DAYS SINCE I GOT IT, AND I TRIED IT ON THE QUARTER MILE AND IT WENT 131.7MPH. I INSTALED A BIG BORE CARB, NEEDLE,AND A SHOT OF NITROS OXSIDE.

The 4-tec does do 60mp right out of the box or so this ad claims it.
Traxxas Nitro 4-Tec 2.5 Ready To Run Nitro Sedan 60+ MPH!!!
See full-size image
This is a Traxxas TRX 4810 Nitro 4-Tec 2.5 Ready To Run four Wheel Drive Nitro Sedan. This screamer will do 60+ MPH right out of the box. That isn't "scale speed" - We're talking Highway speeds here. This beast comes with the new Traxxas TRX 2.5 High Performance Rear Exhaust Engine with slide carb, Full Ball Bearings, Three Belt Driven Full Time Four Wheel Drive, Adjustable Automatic 2-speed transmission for blistering acceleration and amazing top end speed, Factory Painted Body, Factory installed TQ pistol grip radio system, Full Color Decals and more. It comes with the patented Traxxas EZ-Start system - why deal with pull start engines when you can just connect a control box to the car, and the on-board starter motor will crank the engine over for you AND heat the glow plug for easy starts without any extra equipment. It also comes with a Nitro Tuning and Setup guide on DVD to take you step by step through the engine break-in and tuning process - letting you get the best performance out of your car. All you need to get this car on the road is fuel, a fuel bottle (not necessary - but makes refueling easy), 12 AA batteries, and a 7.2V stick pack battery and charger (to power the EZ start system).
Suggested Retail: $550.00
Your Price: $299.99

newtorccars,
I have a couple of different cars, my favorite is my Kyosho Super GP-10. Its similar to a HPI Super Nitro in size, but a major difference is in it's shaft drive versus the belt drive. I have put too much power through belt drives before, and have snapped the $10.00 belts like they were rubber bands, but then again, many .21 size cars use belts, but they are beefy belts. If you really want the thing to cook, swap the motor out, and if you got the room, use a box starter instead of an easy start or pull start, you will lose a small bit of weight and a little drag on the crankshaft. How much do you want to spend? Speed=Money
