is the plan a british origin as they use that measurement on their plans quite often,especially brian taylor and dennis byrant,I asked this question and got the same replies which were ok if they were for us standards but not the same for english units,I ended up using wire that I have used in the location intended that I knew would work ie 5/32 for landing gear etc.
