That GX40 looks like a 2cycle. Since my OS46AX engines all pull an 11x6 as the standard prop, I'd doubt seriously that your 40 would work well with that 12" prop. Are you sure it's a 12x6? A 40 four cycle might turn a 12x6 about right, but not a two cycle.
