RE: Plans for Lockheed Electra
Oh, that Electra. There was a four engine type of same title quite popular in the 1960's.
The Electra as used on the circle the globe attempt was drawn up via Cleveland models in the late 1930's. They later on issued a rubber powered kit.
The Beechcraft has the benefit of a few years of experience behind it, but other than twin engines and tail bears little resemblance to the Lockheed product. The Hudson comes closer.
There had been some talk at the Multi-engine forum here about the Electra, but the postings got intertwined between the four engine and the two engine name, and then the Beech too.
