There appears to be 4 AMA sanctioned clubs within 25 miles of you. Follow this link to find info on these clubs.

A great first step to finding an instructor is contacting these clubs and inquiring about the availability of instructors. And what the procedures for training are.

I'm not sure of the exact date, but there I think you can pay your AMA dues now and they will cover you for the rest of this year and next year too. Give the AMA a call to find out the exact details. Their phone number is (765) 287-1256.
