I used the supplied method with no changes. 150 flights later they are still holding strong. Well where until a trainer decided to land on the rudder and the hinges let go taking the fin wood with them. Dave has increased the hinges on the rudder to 4 verse the 3 that were on mine. I will rebuild and change to 4 CA hinges. Install them using the crayon or grease pencil method. Mark the center of the hinge with a crayon and or grease pencil, drill a 3/32 hole in the center of the hinge slot on both surfaces. Use the recommended amount of thin(I repeat) thin CA. The crayon mark prevents the CA from making the center brittle. The hole allows the CA to wick into the hinge better. 3 to 4 drops in each hole and you are done.
