I finally figured it out. So simple now :-]
I activated the flaperon function
Then I went to Pmix 3 and set the following

MAS =VRD
SLV = FLAP
LINK = ON
SW = H
POSI = DOWN
R=90%

Once I got it working I changed from VR(A) to VR(D) since VR(D) beeps at the center point. I hate looking at the transmitter while flying.

There seems to be very little this radio won't do.
