Great....does that mean I didn't break in my Hacker motor properly cause I didn't run it in water?.... I know I read the manual and it didn't say anything about a break in, never mind using water in the equation...You can put me into the newbies list too...

For electric DC motors that have brushes and a commutator, a break-in done in water will have positive effects on the brushes and on the commutator.
The motor must first be placed in the water and then powered up.

Your Hacker is a brush-less motor, which means it is a 3-phase AC motor that has neither brushes, nor a commutator.
Its ball bearings need no break-in.

...But if you want to become a newbie again, be my guest...
