Black Horse Extra 300S
The newer planes from Black Horse seems to be better built than the ones before. I got a Black Horse 'Travel Air' a couple of years ago and the quality was terrible. I spent more time reinforcing it than most people spent building a kit. The plastic covering also sucks. The elevators fluttered like butterfly wings if I go more than 70% trottle on level flight.
However, some of their new planes seems okay for the money. Mind you they are not in the same league as World Models, Kyosho, GP, EZ or any of the established guys, but they are cheaper. At least they use iron on covering now. Their new acrobatic/pattern models seems to be able to take the Gs. I have seen a few fly with no problems.
I would suggest that you at least fiberglass the wing joint if you are going to fly acrobatics with it. (which I assume you would if you got an Extra)
