Default RC10GT&inline fuel filter

hey, i just moved back to the states , and drug my RC10 out of storage, bought it about 3 years ago or so. anyway, kinda of slowly getting back into the hobby

i purchased a ofna inline fuel filter tonite, and a foot of tubing, i got it on fine, but im not sure on the placement, obivlisly you cant have it dongle right by the fuel tank, and near the gears and spure, it also was blocking the linkage and throttle arm from moving correctly. so i zip tied it on to that plate in the back, just under the power switch..ran tube from tank , then tube to carb. is that a good placement?

ive never used one, but was reading its a very smart idea, especially since the engine barely has a gallon through her.

also one last thing how often do you need to change them?

cheers

the site is great btw

i think ill take a pic of the car and the way that is set up and post it, since my writing is confusing
