So now you are recomending that he steals from the company? Or would you like him to first send the plane back? I understand that he has not yet recieved a gear for his plane but now telling him to steal the airplane from them is 10 times worse then what they ever did.
Actually, that's way too harsh an interpretation.
The company has had ample opportunity to provide what he has already paid for. They have shown that they really don't care that they sold him an incomplete product.
The price of a gear isn't equal to the price of the entire airplane, but he did pay for a complete airplane and he didn't get a complete airplane. He was cheated. Let's say you buy a new car from a dealership who doesn't have the color you wanted. They find one and say it'll be there in a couple of days. You pay for it, but when you come to pick it up, it doesn't have any tires on it. You going to want your money back? No, you want the tires on the car right then because your vacation started that day and you made plans. The dealer laughs about how funny it is, a car with no tires, and walks back into the dealership, leaving you in the lot with your valuable new car. Heck, what could the dealer do, he'd have to take tires off a car he wants to be able to sell that day, just to help you with "your" problem. He's got cars to sell. Can't be bothered with an idiot who bought a car with no tires on it. Dealer walks away laughing. The car buyer does what now?
He's not stealing anything. They've cheated him. He's working out some justice. I'm sure there would be a lot of people who feel that RaidenTech probably still owes him even more.
My interpertation is not harsh at all it is the truth. Doing something like this is wrong! And using you car analogy lets say that something goes wrong with your car, you take it in to get it fixed and find out the dealer you bought it from will not fix it for what ever reason. You then decide to " hit them in the wallet" and stop making payments you then walk out side one morning and find that they hit you even harder and repoed your car. Its the same thing! Theft is theft no matter how you spin it. I am not defending Raiden Tech but am standing up for the principel of the thing if people get this idea in the head we will see this a lot more often and even good companies will fall victom to it. You may think you are teaching a leson but all you people are doing is killing off buisneses one at a time.

In the instance of the repoed car, you have also ruined your credit rating.
Chances are that RaidenTech's folks work full time jobs in addition to running their company. This is no excuse for not delivering the landing gear or offering a free shipping ticket to return and refund the model. But it can partially explain how one can be overwhelmed by life and its situations.
RaidenTech should get on the phone, or email, and try to smooth things over. I doubt if they went to all of the trouble to start a business just to have it go in the tank over a missing landing gear.
Still, I do not blame the OP for being ticked off. Come on RaidenTech, make it right.
