I know nothing is certain in life but if a glow plug blows or a prop sheds some material, these Zurichs are supposed to withstand a hell of a hit. In addition they have a pretty good rating for uv and infrared protection. Thank goodness I've not had debris from a model hit me in the eyes. Prop in the finger however, is a different story....
