My wife wants me to get a Scale ARF Piper J-3 Cub. I have limited building experience, however my flying skills is in the intermediate range. What ARF kit is better for great quality, good hardware, scale looks, something I can put everything together the easiest without correcting factory defects... in about a 5 to 10 hour range.
What's better, Goldberg 40 Cub ARF Yellow .40-.61,76.5!QUOT!

I've been eye balling the Graupner Piper Cub J-3 Model Airplane at hobby Lobby because the build looks super easy, I just don't like the Foam wheels.

I read the reviews and one review I don't trust. He gave the Goldberg a 10 rating all the way... hmmm something smells fishy. The Great Planes review was in the very good range, and there was no review for the Great Planes.
So please, anyone who has built any of these planes... I could sure use your opinions. My wife wants me to get the J-3, because I soloed in a 1947 J-3 Cub in 1983. I have nothing but good things to say about the plane and my wife feels I should get the R/C Version , so I can fill that void a little bit. I'm sure you "full size pilots" can understand.
Thank You,
