I built this tank a few years ago and have since built the Leopard 2 (for a model mag).

In both cases they do look intimidating, but the hardest part is just screwing on that first nut or clipping that first piece of plastic off the sprue.

The KT was much easier to build. I found the lighting system (the headlights) infuriating on the Leo.

I think the KT you're getting should have a nice one-piece turned metal barrel. The kit was recently revised.

This is so much easier than gluing two barrel halves together in the old version!

If you're into detail then there's at least one firm (forgotten name off top of my head) that does aftermnarket upgrades such as engine deck mesh screens etc.
