Default Correct orientation of Perry Pump (VP-30). Must the small vent hole point downward??
I am now in the process of mounting a Perry pump (VP-30) on a OS-91FX. The instruction leaflet states "The small vent hole in the side of the plastic housing should face down". The way I installed it now, it faces sideways.

Should this make any difference? Who has experience with this?
