I had a similar problem to yours so I started hanging my planes from the ceiling. It was like that for about 2 years before I finally got sick of it. I always felt like it might fall down,(luky it never did), it was a little difficult and anoying to get it down, and the planes got realy dusty. So to solve the problem I made a free standing multi wing/ airplane rack made from pvc. Mine holds 2 40 sized planes and 3 wings. If you wanted it to be able to hold more planes, then you could just make yours taller. (Just a suggestion)
