VPP means Variable Pitch Propeller, correct?

You want a radio with helicopter programming. Most modern computer radios with 6 or more channels have helicopter programming on board.

The Optic 6 you're looking at... "Spectra capable" means that unless you specifically buy it with the Spectra synthesized frequency module, the radio comes as a single-frequency unit. I believe the same is true of the JR 7202; you need to specifically purchase the version that comes with the synthesized frequency module.
