No this will not work with USB adaptors.

It only works with a direct serial port hookup.

Don't bother.

The simulator that comes with the PTS is WORTHLESS, Horrible, a piece of @#)@#.

The plane flies like it's sitting on top of a bowling ball. Roll right and instead of the plane rolling around it's own axis, it "slides" over the surface of an invisible ball.

You are not going to learn to fly this way.

Even FMS with it's relatively weak flight model does a much better job.

You CAN get your included TX working (with a serial port hookup) with FMS and software such as PPJOY. This is documented elsewhere.
