I have a G45 on mine which provides rocket like vertical at 15lbs. Regarding it being a man hole cover, at 15lbs, mines still a floater. Having the bigger engine swinging the larger prop even at real low idle speeds, adds to the floating issue. Originally the plane had a G26, and it was a piece of cake to land. With the bigger engine, reinforce the firewall by putting three screws on the top and bottom of the firewall like GP put on the sides. It's a strong plane that can handle the power.
