I thought it already had a CH on it

It wasn't the engine + ch that was too expensive, just the $80. At the very earliest I'm looking at early December, right now I make just enough to pay for school and gas. I'm sure you know how it is. This has been the greatest month; somehow I've had people actually FORCE me to accept four glow planes for nothing, two of which are complete save receiver. Unfortunately, they all need $50 here, or $100 there to get them in the air. o.O "Why do you give me this? I can't do anything to it for months!"
I still haven't been able to find out the models of Echo trimmers this engine is in, anyone know? Would be fun to find one cheap or free, grind it down a bit, buy a muffler and glow plug adapter. I've always wanted to try the methanol/gasoline mix, it really seems the way to go. No onboard battery, no heavy magneto, no nothing. And it's cheap! Don't want to sound like a broken record, but at this time the glow fuel would really be a cost factor: I fly alot
If anyone has one of these 16cc (or 18cc Featherlite, I still think that would be a good motor... the plane was described by the previous owner as "heavy") converted, I have a converted Ryobi here looking for a good plane. Unfortunately I have nothing large enough to put it in.
