You better read the label on K&N filter oil bottles as it is made for glaze filter not foam!!!!!!!!!!!
Any body in this hobby supports price gauging as if you have any idea how much mark up is on parts, vehicles and so on you would understand.
I've talked to a R/C hobbyshop owner. Depending on the product, some of the markups are minimal and some are a bit fat. Filter oil? The local motorcycle shop will sell you 5 times the quantity of oil for 1/2 the price.
