Default RE: Small gas engine for 62" Raven?

Just weighed the airframe on the bathroom scale (only accurate to .5 lbs) at got 6lbs without any engine, receiver, battery. Has servos. 2-3lbs doesn't sound like a problem at all and I really think I would need the extra power for the added weight. With a 21-23cc Echo, I expect without fuel it would come in around 10lbs ready to go, that sound right to you guys? AND, if there is any weight in the tail that will likely be able to be removed (on the other hand, if there is no weight in the tail there might have to be some added). What are you guys getting on the 16cc, 7-8lbs thrust?

The guy from BME says the 23.6 is the way to go, and 2lbs9oz doesn't sound bad at all.

Were you running yours on methanol, Av8tor? If not, I could probably subtract another 8oz for the large battery pack. I read the thread on the 30%methanol/gasoline mix but didn't consider running on straight methanol. What type of oil did you use, Wal-mart 2c oil or castor?
