RE: What O.S Engine to get ?
Avistar...I know you're eager to get started but take a bit of advice
from someone that does a lot of training...wait until you line up
an instructor before you buy too much stuff. Especially a radio.
The equipment you get should be familiar to your instructor.
It will save you BOTH invaluable time. If your instructor
is a JR guy then you would be better off going that direction.
Its easier to buddy box JR/JR and Futaba/Futaba.
Your instructor will be the single most important thing
to line up. Far more important than a radio or engine.
There is a lot more to learning to fly than merely
learning not to crash.
