Knew a guy that switched majors 4 times, then after 9 years of not working for a living, he left with a Communications Degree. I knew a different guy that was the only person at Cal State Chico to be grandfathered exempt from a 10 year old state required MathTest.

I left 3 years of MechEngr (yes, a fun 4.5 years- learned to Homebrew) to get a job as an IT guy, later working IT in Hayward & SanJose.

If you cant afford college, there is an organization that will help you with that. They have this thing called the GI Bill.
