RE: ARF for 52 4-stroke engine
That's a fairly long list! most all the forty size bird's will fly well with your .52 4 banger... you really won't over power any of them however.
3D, keep it under 4 1/2 pounds... if you want to hover down low keep it under 4 pounds.
Sport, keep it under 5 1/2 pounds for good vertical... up to 6 for OK vertical.
Scale, keep it around 6 1/2 for a little better than scale flight on a fairly low drag scale bird... cub. spacewalker and the like... up to about 7 1/2 for scale like flight again on a fairly low drag bird... if you go bipe or high drag keep it around 6 1/2 pounds.
The #'s are based on flying at 2500 ft ASL with my 52's and a 56 4 stroke... and of course VERY subjective.

Forget warbirds... even the 40 size will not fly very well... you just need more speed and power than your .52 can deliver... not that some won't fly... they will... just not like a warbird should IMHO.
