RE: CT-114 TUTOR ALMOST DONE!
Some more pics....
it's getting crowded inside the wings. 5 airlines per wing.... I use some plastic-cable-whatsies to hold the airlines in place. Took a short piece of silicon-tubing to protect the yellow airline at the end of the retract. There is a more or less sharp edge and it needs to be curvy. I have used the instant-air-connectors from dreamworks. They work perfect and I don't know why I didn't buy more of them. The airlines for the retracts ar rooted through small grommets (old servo-grommets) and connected with Festo QSM-3. The 3mm Festo-tubing is not the tightest fit on the black quick-disconnects from dmp, but they are good for more than 7bar! We will see how they work in summertime. The fuselage did look very bad during rigging. Now, most of the parts are installed, all airlines and fuel-tubings are rooted through the fuselage, air-bottles glued with hot-glue and it starts looking nice inside. We have measured the c/g yesterday. There is still the glass-work missing, no lighting-electronics and the batteries for the light and the turbine were missing. It needed 500g lead, so it might work out without any balance-weight. But the JetCat P-160 is lighter than the Peggy.
Almost forgot to mention: I have cut a couple of vent-holes and added cardboard-tubes to get a nice look. The one on the bottom is for my vent-lines. I am using a 6mm Festo-fitting for kero. I still need to add a 4mm brass-tube for the smoke-fluid. I love these small details.....
