Trick to landing this plane (and the Reaper) is to make a hard turn onto final. Delta's lose energy in hard turns...that usually bleeds off enough speed to get it on the ground. First few flights it probably would be best to shut the turbine down....had a P-80 in my Reaper, and it would float forever. I remember landing one time, and the guy spotting for me was a Tornado pilot for the German Air Force...he saw how slow it was going, and kept telling me "Power...Power...more Power", but it was just about right.

Had a ball with the plane...planning on building another one. In fact, I have a Reaper fuse...sure wish I could find someone with a pair of wings they'd let go of.
