Default Kalt Cyclone Manual requested

>Yes, I saw the posts about that. Sorry you got the raw end of >the deal on that one.

Story is that he was selling for a buddy, buddy didn't tell him the truth. He offered to have me ship it back and he wouild refund my money. I wasn't going to send it back, I really did want it for the parts. It was supposed to be mint, probably would have flown it. Told him to have his buddy send me what he thought was fair. Never received a thing, guess you know how much truth there is in his buddy,

>I don't think mine was ever flown.

On mine there is very little build up on the inside of the muffler, the skids show no scratches and the whole heli is clean.

>The engine looks in good shape and I can get it to bark a bit on >the test bench. Need to do some tweaking before I put it back >into the heli.

A friend helped me get this started, runs great. I want to get this thing all the way back together in the next two weeks. I just need one fast servo for the tail rotor gyro, I'm done.

>This one came with no electronics, but I think I have enough old >stuff laying around to make it airworthy.

Same with this one. Started from scratch and almost done now. Just bought a new RD6000 and installed all the servos on the Cyclone II. I am going to order minis for the EP Concept.

>Are spares going to be a scarce commodity for me?

In all probability, yes. The Cyclone is a neat little heli, keep your eyes open for a parts ship in the Cyclone or Cyclone II. The rotors are different, although some parts are interchangable. The II has a toothed belt on the tail rotor and the Cyclone has a smooth belt. The main frame and landing gear are almost identical, I haven't seen a difference yet. I think it's neat that it has its own compartment for the gyro.

>Can this thing handle a full body of say an apache?

Being that it is a 50, it could. Don't know if it would put a 60 size Airwolf on it. In my opinion, It should not be a problem with a reasonable size one.

>I do appreciate the help you have given me with the manual.
>Thanks MUCHOS!

No problem. I will send you a disc with a file called "heliparts". It has a listing of all the Kalt parts I could find, with all the Cyclone parts marked.

Good luck.
