Forget hobby shops. Ace Hardware carries all the bolts and nuts, epoxy and wood glue, sand paper, brass tubing, piano wire and even balsa wood, Dremel parts and Rustoleum paint, (which works better than Lustrekote)
Hobby Lobby, a craft store chain, carries balsa wood and CA.
There is simply no reason to deal with another hobby shop for anything other than fuel and you can even order that.
Don't waste your time driving an hour out of your way to hear that you don't need what you are looking for from (lets face it) a rather SLOW clerk in a hobby shop !!!! And "We can order that for you". So can my grandmother ! Gee thanks !!
These smucks don't support you so why should you support them ? That is a two way street and they never seemed to catch on. Let them all go under.
