I have the same problem with my first CP. After a total rebuild all it does is scoot around on the ground.
Building up another from the ARF version, and using the same motor, this one does what it's supposed to.

The setups appear identical, other than Plasti-blades on the first one.
Using repaired wooden blades on the second one. Same radio, same Nimh.
