I would send the motor in also, especially if it hit the ground!!! Either Bobby at Cactus or Gerhard at Aircraft International will hook you up. Of all the times I hit the ground with my 3W's, most of the time I damaged the ignition cap, and it caused issues with the radio. One last thing to check is that your ignition battery and switch are as far away from the receiver as possible, just a thought.
