Default RE: Air Filter

I think we can all say that the prices are way to high. There is a lot of price gauging in this hobby but most of the people dont even know that they are getting jipped so what they dont know doesnt hurt them right.

I am also a metal fabricator and can tell you that some of those machined parts are very overpriced. But it takes money to make better quality parts remember. A company that has up to date machines can make better quality parts, faster and cheaper then a out of date machine can. And the machines that hey have just dont cost a thousand dollars. I use to work around a machine that all it did was cut metal (better known to fabricator's as a shear) that cost 5 million dollars and that wasnt the most expensive machine by any means in the building. I agree that some of the parts are overrpirced but the company's has to grow and prosper, if they dont then wont have replacment parts for our vehicles. So you see yes they do mark up the prices but they have to make a living and they also have to buy machines that 98% on this site couldnt buy even if we sold out house to try and get it.
