There are at least 15 kinds of oil products I could think of and they all have the same thing, they attract dust. But can you just soak them as a filter oil? Why not just use silicone shock oil as filter oil then? Saving 5 bucks and risk the life of your engine is a bad move.

Ball bearing oil can also be used as bushing oil and vise versa but just don't act as good. Different oils have different applications. Don't mix them up.
