Possable Peeler???
A friend gave me an OS .60 FP a while back, and last night I was looking inside the cyl. w/a flashlight and noticed some blue discoloration spots in the cyl...So, I took the head off for a better look, and sure enuf, there are bluish "blotches" in and around the top lip of the cylinder...This engine is several years old (he can't remember exactly,he's 85 and can't fly "gassers" any more, I'm re-teaching him w/a park flyer tho...) Could be this one is from the "bad batch" of peelers I've heard so much about??? Is there a way I can recognize it before things get nasty and chew things up? Is the blue nickel area(s) gonna peel? I don't want to run it any more, cuz it's almost brand new (2 tanks @ a rich 2 cycle setting) Thanks...
